Smile for Mombasa Residence

 THE KENYA PORT AUTHORITY 

Its now back , just some of the statements used by the residence of mombasa to show how happy they are after the port services is being brought back to the coast. Its been a while that many people of mombasa had missed the services offered by the Kenya Port Authority (KPA).

In 2019 the kenya Government shifted the operation port from mombasa to Naivasha and  Nairobi  this caused alot of miscomfort among the coast residence who mainly dependents on the port operations.This was mainly evident after  the  the port of  shifted off to the inland many struggled to have their life at the comfort zone .The Kenya Port Authority has been of more beneficiary to many people who mainly relied on it as their means to have their families happy and at least bring food to the table.After the Mombasa port had been shifted to Naivasha many people lost their jobs and most of the logistics companies failed due to lack of raw materials and also many lost their jobs as the company failed to work .

This has really turned mombasa to a slower deeper town that cannot be depended on again .However mombasa residents have a reason to smile again after the president of kenya H. E William Ruto on 13th September this year fullfiled his promises by returning all port operation to Mombasa from Naivasha and Nairobi. 

REASON OF REVERT OF PORT OPERATIONS BACK TO MOMBASA

1.To create more Jobs for the mombasa Residence.

2.To start up the Companies that relied on the port.

3.For mombasa to collect more revenue to improve infrastructure at the county. 

BENEFITS OF THE REVERT OF PORT OPERATIONS 

The port operation has been of more helpful to the Mombasa residence .

1.The port Has helped to create more jobs at the county. Many people has been working at the port as the drivers and machine operators and also many have been working for the companies that relied on the port for raw materials.

2.Revenue collection -Since the port operation is back to mombasa , Mombasa is now able to collect more revenue that will help the county to have some development done and improve up the county.

3.Revival of Companies-Since the port operation was pulled away from the coast most of the companies that relied on the port for Raw materials failed up this was a big challenge of them but as for now , many of the companies have a reason to smile as they will now have enough raw materials for them to provide enough materials.

4.The port operation also has improved bussiness among the mombasa Residence as for now they recieve their goods easily for them to have them at the market at the right time.

 It is clear the port operation is supposed to remain at Mombasa for the beneficiary of the people around it . We thank the president for acting as he promised mombasa people that as per now they are enjoying the fruit of their county
